Paramotor training here—whether beginner courses, adventure/advanced programs, or immersive fly-ins at spots like West Shores Marina—unfolds against a backdrop of vast, open shores and surreal, below-sea-level terrain. What truly sets it apart is the reliable offshore breeze (often described as an off-lake or steady lake breeze) that flows consistently from the water, keeping the air remarkably smooth and thermal-free for extended periods. This allows pilots to fly all day long without the midday turbulence that plagues many inland sites, providing endless opportunities for skill-building launches, landings, kiting practice, and exploratory flights over beaches, canyons, and flat expanses under the warm desert sun.  Our courses at Salton Sea run from November - March and are $3500.
